How to backup WordPress Website

Backing up your website regularly is extremely important. Losing your entire website or portions of it can be disastrous.  If you have not already done so, you should establish a set schedule to perform backups. I recommend that you perform a backup before you update or change your website theme, or update any plugins. I also recommend that you perform backups on a weekly basis to ensure that you always have a current one should an incident occur requiring you to perform a full restoral of your site. In this post, I will show you how to backup WordPress website using the WordPress Export Tool.

    • The first thing you want to do is log in to your WordPress back office Dashboard. From there you will click on “Tools” and select “Export”.
